Pakistan’s first Virtual Fashion Show ‘Catwalk Cares’ kicks off

Pakistan’s first-ever virtual fashion show, ‘Catwalk Cares’ kicked off on 5th of June. The whole event was managed by Frieha Altaf. According to sources, the event will be aired on all digital platforms for three days starting 5 June.

The first-ever virtual fashion show is an ode to the front-liners who are working day and night to bring the pandemic under control. Altaf, CEO of Catwalk Event Management says that the purpose of the event is to honor our doctors and nurses who are risking their lives every day.

Sources claim, around sixteen to twenty fashion designers will be showcasing their designs and collections on the virtual show. Also, models, actors, and makeup artists will also grace the virtual fashion show. Yesterday’s event showcased collections from Amir Adnan, Huma Adnan. Khaadi, Maheen Karim, and many more. The varied designs were worn by top models and on a note of positivity, the designs can be delivered by the studio as well. Frieha is also asking celebrities to hop on board and support the cause.

The virtual fashion show is also an attempt to save the fashion industry from imminent doom. This is one way to promote our industry and boost sales online.
